Interxion´s 14,000 sq.ft build out in the Park West Business Park, Dublin 12, was constructed in a phased approach, with an estimated investment of €50 million.

Interxion Equipment Housing - fully managed and fitted with fire protection walls, fire suppression systems, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), back-up generators
Interxion Hosting and Storage - offering a complete range of pay-as-you-go Managed Storage Service solutions, which are built upon state-of-the-art technology
Interxion Connectivity -an expanded suite of managed connectivity services from one, simple, physical connection to an Ethernet based “Virtual Local Area Network” (VLAN)
Project Description
Imtech Engineering’s scope of work includes the complete electrical installation involving the following:
1.Detailed design & working drawings for the complete MV & LV Installation including supply & installation of 12 MVA generating station & 10 MVA UPS Backup complete with all associated Switch Gear (including 6 no. 1.5 MVA transformers & 1 no. 13 panel 10/20 KVA Main Board).
2.Supply & installation of complete Distribution System including Mains Cabling i.e. 20km of 4 x 400m2 SWA Cables & 500 meters of 800 amp bus duct & 1000 meters of 63 amp bus bar.

Ebone is one of Europe’s leading broadband optical and IP network service providers. It is a pan-European backbone network service driven by a research network consortium.
The Bracknell facility, serves over 4,000 businesses with secureWeb hosting and e-business services and was acquired when GTS purchased Netcom Internet in February 2000. It was expanded to meet rapid demand from both Netcom and GTS customers.
These new centers offered expanded services including managed firewalls, intrusion detection, managed authentication, digital certification, caching, video and audio streaming, back-up services, complex hosting and a range of e-commerce offerings that enable businesses of varying sizes to rapidly begin doing business online. These services were offered in conjunction with the GTS Eboneservice, providing secure high-speed transit, exceptional quality and established high-level peering

GLOBAL SWITCH - PARIS & AMSTERDAM
Project Description
Imtech Engineering’s scope of work for the two projects included the complete electrical installation involving the following:
Design, co-ordination and production of drawings
Installation of all cableways under raised floor, (ie) tray, basket, pack, fibre guides
Installation of main boards, running of power cables to UPS and from UPS to boards
Power Supplies to comms cabinets, lighting and general services and clean earth system.

90 million euro orders for technology in European data centres
Gouda, The Netherlands - Imtech N.V. (technical services provider in Europe) announces that it has received orders worth more than 90 million euro for total technological solutions for the overhaul, upgrading or expansion of data centres in Europe.
By combining innovative and multidisciplinary technology Imtech offers advanced solutions for technological infrastructure and upgrading of data centres. Due to the increased quantity of European data flow and the highly increased band width of data flow energy providers, banks, insurance companies, telecom providers, industrial and many other companies choose to invest in overhaul, expansion and upgrading of existing ICT infrastructure and capacity in large data centres.
Imtech provides high tech ICT infrastructure, reliable power supply, innovative cabling, preventative fire safety, no-break facilities and professional disaster plans. Because of the increased capacity of these centres, heat production is approaching critical limits of as much as 60,000 W/m². In order to process this enormous amount of heat, Imtech is able to find high tech solutions for extra cooling and warmth removal, for example by making use of innovative cooling technology and water circulation. All Imtech solutions are characterised by optimum attention to energy conservation and fit in seamlessly with the primary and secondary processes at these enormous data centres.
Recently Imtech received orders for the overhaul, upgrading or expansion of data centres of energy company EnBW (Energie Baden-Württemberg) in Krötzingen and Daxlanden in Germany, insurance company Allianz in München in Germany, data company e-shelter in Frankfurt in Germany, producer of optical instruments NDC in Eschborn and Oberursel in Germany, ING Bank in The Netherlands, telecom provider Belgacom in Belgium and the Drosbach financial data centre in Luxemburg. About fifty percent of these data centre has been equipped with IBM-technology. Imtech is also working on several ‘stand alone’ IBM-data centres in Germany and Ireland.
85 million euro orders for technology in German financial market data centres
Gouda/Hamburg - Imtech N.V. (technical services provider in Europe) announces that it has received orders worth more than 85 million euro for total technological solutions for the overhaul and/or expansion of computer and data centres of financial institutions in Germany.
The economic situation in Germany is picking up after a number of years of stagnation and negative economic conditions. Growth in exports first led to improvement in the investment climate in industry, and now the market for buildings is also clearly improving.
